EVARA was founded in 1999 as a member of Cornell Business & Technology Park (Ithaca, NY), while our CEO, Dr. Ehab Mostafa, was completing his Ph.D. at Cornell University. In this first chapter, we operated as Engineering and Research Solutions (ENR Solutions). From day one, the company was shaped by a close academic–industry collaboration: co-founded with Dr. Mostafa's advisors, Dr. Mircea D. Grigoriu, and Dr. Richard N. White, together with his long-time friend and partner, Eng. Ahmed Mostafa. That setting—at the intersection of advanced research and practical delivery—formed EVARA's multidisciplinary DNA and our "research-to-practice" ethos.
