EVARA at Africa Health ExCon 2025: advancing environmental consulting and sustainable medical-waste management in healthcare

Throughout the week, EVARA’s team engaged hospital leaders, investors, and government stakeholders around two core themes:

1.     Environmental Consulting for Healthcare Facilities
EVARA outlined practical pathways to lower environmental footprint while improving compliance and operating efficiency—covering energy and water use, air quality, emissions, and waste-stream optimization. Discussions highlighted how structured audits and targeted upgrades (e.g., HVAC and filtration performance, water-use intensity, on-site renewables, and digital monitoring) can deliver measurable cost and ESG benefits in line with hospital accreditation and regulatory frameworks across the region.
